Hey there lumpyleg, you don't have to upload the photos to imageshack or photobucket - you can upload them directly to the forum; here's how:

Upload your file as you would a attachment with an email:
attachment.png

Choose "place inline" from the file comments:
placeinline.png

And you post code should like like so:
code.png

Voila!

Anyway, I digress, here's my baby:

Home is fine for pretty much anything.

The only feature of Pro that I actually use is the Group Policy Editor - to turn off AutoPlay, as it annoys the living daylights out of me. I don't want you to scan my storage for different media every time I plug it in!!

To be honest - I havent used Home much - but every time I have, it has annoyed me by what it lacks.

But its mainly networking stuff - and probably isnt a problem for most users.

Same reason I'm going to go Vista Ultimate instead of Premium.

Yeah - if you're going to get Vista, get Vista Ultimate. All the extra baggage might slow your computer down a bit, but it's worth it if you do a lot of techy type stuff :P

I was agreeing with Turkey that Premium was as much as you'd want - until I found out that only Ultimate and Business can join domains!

I cant stand the idea of not having that option in a windows pc. I think Linux machines can join domains too - but theres not too much point if its an AD domain (Active Directory). But having used them at work - domains are awesome. Probably pretty pointless for a home setup - but does add enough to make it worthwhile if you're geeky enough (and not too anti-MS).

Hate for Active Directory.

Open Directory for the win!
